Come Along to Our Intergenerational Gardening Day with Huntly Kindergarten
GreenConnect is proud to announce our intergenerational community garden, in collaboration with Huntly Kindergarten. GreenConnect participants and kindergarten students will be planting seedlings and potting up vegetables and herbs for the children to care for and harvest. We hope that young and old hands can nurture the garden together.
As always, morning tea and hot drinks will be served.
Please note, this will be an outdoor event so please rug up!
About the Venue
Huntly Kindergarten, part of the Shine Bright Early Years Management network, is a nurturing and inclusive early learning environment that values community, connection, and care — qualities that align beautifully with the GreenConnect approach. With a strong focus on play-based learning and respect for the natural world, the team at Huntly creates opportunities for children to learn through hands-on exploration and meaningful relationships. This shared gardening activity offers a unique opportunity for young learners and GreenConnect participants to come together, connect across generations, and grow something special — side by side.
